My passion for the “What If?” into TheBigBangMay6.com has been embedded in my brain for a long, long time.
As far back as 2015, when I had initial ambitions to write a book about the year 2001, I did as much research as I could regarding the final days of World Championship Wrestling, digging into old websites, books, and audio.
However, due to lack of legitimate sources, as well as Guy Evans’ Nitro being world’s deeper and better than what I had in mind, I had to pull myself back from the vision.
A few years later, when I was running a podcasting network for my other website http://HardwayHQ.com, I decided to do a podcast series called 2001: A Strange Wrestling Odyssey. It was a twelve-part series discussing the entire year, including a discussion on WCW’s final days.
I remember for the month of May, I, alongside my friend Nick Reigota, discussed The Big Bang at length, but I did not realize we touched upon the actual domain.
